Health, Hunger and Humanity
Program
This book is an account of the development of the program as seen by Sir Clem Renouf, the President of Rotary International 1978-79 and the Rotarian who has been closely identified with the program since its inception.

The account is based on extensive records and notes that he has (many not in the official records) that he retained for the purpose of committing the development of the program to paper.

Sir Clem records that he sought to strike a balance between the strictly official record (transcripts of board discussions, board minutes etc), unofficial but verifiable records (letters, copies of speeches, extracts from Rotary magazines etc) and his own recollection and opinions of people and events which shaped the program.

It has been written for the record as an unofficial but Sir Clem believes, an accurate record of events.
