A complete History section here

Chartered on 25 April 1923, the Rotary Club of Dunedin was the fourth Rotary club to be chartered in New Zealand. (charter, left, signed by Paul Harris) It has met continuously since then (excluding 1943-45) and presently consists of 117 members.

Members meet at the Savoy Restaurant every Thursday at 12.15 pm and visitors are welcome. In addition to these weekly meetings,

all members attend various monthly committee meetings after work. It is at these committee meetings that Rotary plans and organises the many community activities that it undertakes.
