RC Paramaribo Residence
Rotary Club Paramaribo Residence is one of the three Rotary clubs in Suriname, established in June 19, 2002.
Rotary Club Paramaribo Central sponsored the initiative to establish this third club.

One of the reasons for the creation of third club was including the great need within the Surinamese community for carrying out community projects.

The oldest club in Suriname is the Rotary Club Paramaribo (founded in 1953).

The Rotary clubs are part of a global organization consisting of senior female and male executives and independent professionals and entrepreneurs, all connected by the same Rotary motto "Service Above Self".

This they do in their personal lives and in their appeal to the Rotary ideal fit.

In practice this is done by initiating and implementing community projects that relate to important areas within our community: health, education, environment, children in difficult situations.
Each Rotarian is expected that he / she is motivated to work on service projects of the community, region and even the world.
