Most of you, at least in the U.S.A., and some in Europe, have seen a copy of theNorman Rockwell painting of the father and son in the garage preparing to do a woodworking project. The father is strapping on a tool belt, and his son, eyes firmly on his dad, is strapping on a small tool belt, just like dad. It appeared as a cover for theSaturday Evening Post.

As in the painting, you can’t do the job without having the right tools. To help you get the most from this large project, we have created some “tools.” Some of these tools, or pages, will aid navigation through the more than 1,600 pages of Rotary Global History, help explain those 1,600 pages, as well as the project and will extend to Rotary itself.

Our best tools to find your way around the "History" are our Search Page, History Timeline and One Page History pages.

When you arrive at your destination, you will be able to understand what you are reading, even if it is sprinkled with jargon, abbreviations and acronyms. You can instantly link to a page explaining abbreviations used in Rotary and a glossary of Rotary terms, or you can preview them before traveling.

Visitors to this expanded and growing website ask us "Even with these tools, how do I find it?" We have created a very brief page to address that issue.

How Do I Find It?

For anyone who has every been frustrated with a computer, we have found out "how they work." A humorous look at these machines.

RGHF members, who have been invited to this page, may register.

If a DGE/N/D joins prior to their year, they will have more exposure to Rotary's Global History by their service year.

This will be beneficial to all concerned.
