The Meaning of Rotary
Vivian Carter
Author of, "The Romance of Rotary In London"
assembled for publication in 1926.
Secretary Of R.I.B.I. 1921-1928
It was originally written by Carter as a series of pamphlets, but were then combined in a book. When finally published as a book, Carter felt that it would be more meaningful to Rotarians to highlight the introduction written by John Galsworthy*, then make mention of an author.

*John Galsworthy, English novelist ("The Forsyte Saga"), Nobel Prize in Literature 1932.
