#1. The City of Wagga Wagga, NSW the forerunner of future monuments, this was designed in Wagga Wagga
RC Wagga Wagga-Kooringal, President Doug Masterson, initiated by past RI President Tony Quinlivan.

The Wagga Wagga Kooringal Rotary Club established the first Rotary District Peace Community in the world on 23 February 1993 when the Peace Monument in Wagga Wagga was Dedicated by RI President Royce Abbey.
