Curepipe
became the first Rotary Peace City in Mauritius when it was
endorsed on 24 June 2000 under the guidance of RC Curepipe,
D9220 and the event was initiated by Clifford Rose. |

Beau Bassin/Rose Hill
followed closely behind being endorsed on 12 November 2000 under
the supervision of RC Beau Bassin Rose Hill D9220 and was
initiated by Berty Malabar. |
