4 sided Peace Pole, one of a kind,
presented to and accepted by Dr. Varakorn. with 8 plaques
reading..."May Peace Prevail On Earth", and "May Peace Be in Our
Communities," in English, Thai, Japanese and Tagalog featured.
There are Rotary Peace Poles in Marin and San Francisco,
Maui, and Monuments in Phils, Pattaya, Aus-Wagga...Geoff has all
the info.
RGHF will be honored as the actual Donor of the
Pole, along with a few hundred dollars, if requested, for
flowers, or plaque, or Ceremony in June 2012.
Dr. Phichai
Tovivich may be asked to speak at the Ceremony; probably a
Buddhist monk and a blessing, and some Professional photo shoot
pictures.
Also on the Pole is "International Day of Peace
September 21" and "rotarypeacecities.info"
The Peace Pole was
donated by the World Peace Prayer Society (WPPS) and the Peace
Pole Project...for Rotary Peace Projects....

especially requested for inclusion in multiple newsletters,
reports and Blogs, as well as FB.
