The Rotaract Club of Shanghai (RACS)
 is a non-profit social organization
composed of young professionals and graduate students living in Shanghai
 that
is involved in cultural activities and volunteer projects around China.
It is the first of its kind in Mainland China, and one of more than 7600
Rotaract clubs all over the world with an active membership of over 180,000.
Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Shanghai was chartered in
December 2007 and now has over 20 members. It plans and
executes voluntary, social, fellowship and leadership projects
to develop its members into skilled and socially responsible
world citizens.
The Rotaract Club of Beijing was the second
club to be formed on mainland China.
