IN DJIBOUTI

  History 
 There is one Rotaract club in Djibouti which was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Djibouti.

 District  
 The Rotaract clubs in Djibouti are, along with their Rotary counterparts, included in District 9220 which also includes the nations of Comores Island, Madagascar, Mauritius, Mayotte, Reunion, Rodrigues, and Seychelles.

 Clubs
 The Rotaract Club of Djibouti conducts annual social actions to benefit children and youth in need in conjunction with its sponsor Rotary Club of Djibouti which provides assistance to local associations or movements in the realization of their projects.
 A young educated, healthy and physically committed to the development of solidarity with their homeland are the founding principles of Rotaract Club of Djibouti.

The priorities of the Rotaract Club of Djibouti are in the Education and Training of youth, health, solidarity and assistance to national development are the priority areas around which the Rotaract Club of Djibouti develops projects each year.
The construction of day care for children with disabilities which will come very soon, the organization of festivals, days of youth awareness on AIDS as cancer of the breast show the real commitment of the Rotaract Club Djibouti.

"So many initiatives since its inception in 1988 our country on which the Rotaract Club applies to teach children the values of mutual assistance, solidarity to the nation and especially the sense of camaraderie for a socio-professional integration successful. This segment of the population "in the words of the young and dynamic President, Miss Halimo Ragueh Ibrahim.

Library Gargar Primary School, a learning library of the school of gargling with the same objective in accordance with predetermined club program for the period 2008/2009 on "the dreams" or "Make Dreams Real "chaired by that time by Mrs Khadija Ibrahim Idris.
Better still, this latest project is intended preventive vis-à-vis the children of this school of PK 14 against the high risk of exposure to crime because of its location in the poor neighborhoods of the capital.

That is the purpose of this library set up by the Rotaract Club of Djibouti through a broad partnership with MENESUP now, the Ministry of Youth and Sports now with the Rotary Club of Djibouti.
Fully funded by the Rotaract Club of Djibouti, has begun work to finish the electrical, decorating the room but also to equip the library.
For its part, the Rotary Club of Djibouti through the partnership of the Rotary Club of Toulon, France received a donation of books including dictionaries, atlases, comic books, collections of stories, etc.
And the Rotaract Club has distributed 8 pallets of books of this gift in the various CDC Capital and the regions of the Interior to assign the rest to the school children of PK 14.
"This library will not only provide additional support to thousands of children in primary school for their learning, will develop a taste and love of the language of Molière but also to thrive by escaping the evils of crime" is convinced the head of the Rotaract Club.
The construction of a library in this area of 14 PK significantly increase the level of education of these students make progress in terms of their reading and their studies and develop their educational achievement through the books with their provisions.

Such action will increase the number of serious school children (particularly girls).
This is sufficient to justify the importance of this humanitarian effort.
