Just as
James W. Davidson was responsible for the formation
of the first 6 Rotary Clubs in Malaysia, so too were those same
6 Rotary Clubs responsible for the creation of some (but not all) of the
first New Generation clubs in Malaysia.
 Those
Rotaract Clubs fall
under the jurisdiction of the same District 3300 and 3310 which
applies to Rotary Clubs, the former covering the central and
northern states of Malaysia and the latter covering the states
of Johor, Melaka, Sabah and Sarawak.
District 3300 has no
less than 31 Rotaract clubs from Penang in the north to most
areas in the Greater Kuala Lumpur.
There are 11 Malaysian clubs in District 3310
including 4 in Sarawak, 3 in Sabah, 3 in Johor and 1 in Melaka
(at 2010), with many more in Singapore.
Because of the large area to be covered, clubs in D3300 are
divided into 4 groups covering northern, central, eastern and
southern regions.
