Author James P. Walsh was a charter member of RC of Croydon South, UK. Born in Wales in 1922, he has been a professional librarian, specializing in research. This book was written in 1979 and is quoted and acknowledged throughout Rotary Global History.

By searching the internet, copies of "The First Rotarian" can still be found at prices from $30 to 75 USD.
