"He Profits Most Who Serves Best" and "Service Above Self" are adopted as mottos of Rotary.

During the discussion of enactment 50-08, a member of the RC St. Pancras, London seconded the motion. At least ten years ago, I visited this old London club and was surprised by the uncommonly friendly atmosphere ("Gemütlichkeit"). The club had severe problems concerning its membership; as I recall they then had fifteen members. Today I called the RIBI secretary in Warwickshire and was happy to learn that the club still exists (ten members). Size doesn't always count. Wolfgang Ziegler, 2009

Proposed enactment 50-10: It seems, that the RC of Ahmedabad, India, was nearly 30 years ahead of RI. Congratulation!
