Why I Am A Rotarian

NOVEMBER 7, 2006

There is always a special moment when you are involved in medical missions.  A young mother saw her child for the first time post surgery and she could not stop the tears from running down her face.  That brief moment synthesizes what we are all about -- affecting and changing people's lives.  Not only did we permanently improve the life of the child, but also that of the family.  That too broadens out to the extended community.

That makes me proud to be a Rotarian.
