 History
The first Inner Wheel Club was founded in Croatia in 1992 when in that year, the Inner Wheel Club of Zagreb was formed, rapidly followed by Split, Karlovac, Rijeka, Dubrovnik, Varazdin, Cakovec, Osijek, Pula, Sibenik and Zadar.

All Croatian clubs in the year 2000 and at the time numbering 12, established a special district - District 191 covering all of Croatia and based in Zagreb.
It is interesting that this, along with Switzerland, with 34 clubs, was the only district in Europe which actually coincides with national borders.

In this way, Croatian clubs within the District are easier to operate, to plan joint district actions and projects, to arrange club visits by the district representatives, to arrange attendance at international conventions and in communications with the central office in London.

The clubs themselves are financed exclusively by contributions raised by its members, from various fundraising events or from donations directed immediately to those who need it.

As the same in the Rotary International, clubs of Inner Wheel mandate the president and secretary for only a year and then make the "spin" that ensures maximum democracy and transparency in business clubs.
Humanitarian activity is oriented to local clubs and at District level are frequent and common activities.
