 History
  The first Inner Wheel Club arrived in Switzerland with the formation of the Morges Club in 1981.
6 years later, in 1987, District 199 was created to cater for the 9 clubs that existed in Switzerland at that date.

On 16 April 2003 the first cross-border club was formed in Liechtenstein.
In the 2003 year, to coincide with the new club in Liechtenstein, our District was re-named "District 199, Switzerland and Liechtenstein".

In 2005 there were 43 clubs with 1624 members;
In 2011 there were 45 clubs with 1809 members.

 Districts
All clubs in both Switzerland and Liechtenstein are under the management of District 199.

For details of the club (number 22) in Liechtenstein, please refer to our page on Liechtenstein
