IN SENEGAL

History
While
some may say Senegal is more famous for its rally, Rotarians
might disagree.
Rotaract
arrived in Senegal via the Rotary Club of Dakar which was
responsible for the formation of the country's first Rotaract -
RAC Dakar.
The other two Rotaract clubs were sponsored by
RC Dakar Alizes.

District
The Rotaract clubs of Senegal share District 9100 with all the Rotaract
Clubs of the following other countries -
Benin (9), Burkina (7),
Cap-Vert (1),
Cote d'Ivoire (18),
The Gambia (1),
Ghana
(17), Guinea-Bissau (1),
Guinea (2),
Liberia (1), Mali (6),
Niger (2)
and Sierra Leone (1),
Togo (0).
With 14 countries,
District 9100 is the most multi-national District in the Rotary
World.

Clubs
There are 3 Rotaract clubs in Senegal, 2 in the capital
city Dakar and 1 in the coastal town of Simone, some 77km south
of Dakar.
