History
The
Inner Wheel Club of Curacao was formed in 1971 becoming the
second club within the Kingdom of the Nederlands to be formed
after the club in Suriname. Curacao is the largest and most
populated of the 3 island countries of the Lesser or Leeward
Antilles and "C" in the popularly known "ABC" islands. |

The Inner
Wheel Club of Curacao is listed under the jurisdiction of
District 60 of the
Netherlands.
In an unusual arrangement
created by language and other issues, Inner Wheel clubs in both
Curacao and
Suriname are both administered by District 60 and
linked to such clubs as Rotterdam, some 10,000 miles distant. |
Clubs
At
2010, the sole club on the island of Curacao is the Inner Wheel
Club of Curacao. The club is a Dutch language club.
